Di Maria Wins Goal of The Season

Angél Di Maria has won himself the goal of the season award. He produced real brilliance earn himself the accolade of Goal Of The Season for his lob against Leicester City in September.

The Barclays Premier League held a mini competition tagged “the goal cup” to determine the best goal with fans allowed to vote off goals. Phillipe Coutinho’s strike against Southampton on the 22 of February made it to the final and lost to Di Maria’s lob after beating Matt Phillips’ strike. Phil Jagielka’s wonder goal against Liverpool and Bobby Zamora’s strike against West Brom were also in the running.
