Three people escaped without serious injury after a terrifying crash between a freight train and a tractor trailer -- all caught on another driver's dash cam.
Just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, in Queens, New York, a truck driver's camera captured a freight train zoom by and collide with an 18-wheeler tractor-trailer.
The train pushed the tractor-trailer about 100 to 200 feet down the tracks, according to ABC station WABC in New York .
The dash cam video appears to show that the gates weren't down and the lights didn't flash until just before the collision.
The tractor-trailer driver suffered minor injuries, WABC reported, and the train conductor and engineer refused medical attention.
The crash is under investigation, said Paul Victor, President of the New York & Atlantic Railway. Officials are interviewing witnesses and analyzing the locomotive black boxes and crossing signal black boxes, Victor said.
